Glossary · Results as a Service
Results as a Service (RaaS) is a managed engagement in which one provider builds a business's digital system (website, CRM, automations, AI agents, and marketing channels) and then operates it week to week for a flat monthly rate, reporting on business outcomes, while the client keeps ownership of its custom code and data and approves every change.
The phrase describes the engagement model ChaseDaddy.com has run from Denver, Colorado since 2013. It is the answer to a question founders ask on nearly every discovery call: "I already bought the CRM, the scheduler, the chatbot, and the email tool. Why is none of it producing anything?" The honest answer is that software does not run itself. Somebody has to operate it, and in most small businesses that somebody is the owner, at 9 pm, after the real work is done. RaaS puts a team on that job and ties the fee to outcomes instead of logins.
Software as a service hands you a login. The vendor keeps the servers up and ships features. Everything else is yours: the setup, the integrations, the follow-up sequences, the content calendar, the reporting, and the fixing when a form stops sending. A SaaS stack is a set of tools in a garage. It does not build the car, and it does not drive it. The money is rarely lost on the subscriptions themselves; it is lost on the hours nobody has to run them, which is why a $47 per month CRM so often holds 40 contacts and a chatbot that says "I am not sure I understand."
A traditional agency retainer solves the labor problem and creates a different one. The agency does the work, but the deliverable is activity: posts published, ads launched, a monthly PDF. The site often lives on the agency's hosting, the CRM is under the agency's account, and the ad pixels sit in the agency's manager. Try to leave and you discover how much of your own company you never actually owned. Retainers are also priced on effort, so there is no built-in reason for the agency to make the system simpler or more automated over time.
Results as a Service takes the useful half of each model and drops the rest. Like an agency, a team does the work. Like a well-built internal system, the infrastructure belongs to you: custom code you own once paid in full, accounts in your name, and admin access you never give up. The monthly fee is flat and scoped to what is being run, so our incentive is to automate the repetitive parts and spend the human hours where judgment matters. Reporting is on outcomes, such as booked jobs, response time, and review count, because that is what you are paying for.
| Question | SaaS | Agency retainer | RaaS (ChaseDaddy.com) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who does the work? | You | The agency | Our team, with your approval |
| Who owns the system? | The vendor | Usually the agency | You, once paid in full |
| How is it priced? | Per seat, per contact | Retainer on effort | Fixed build, flat monthly |
| What is reported? | Usage | Activity | Outcomes: leads, calls, bookings |
| What happens if you leave? | Export what you can | Often start over | Keep the code, accounts, and data |
The build is the first 30 days. The engagement is everything after. A RaaS month at ChaseDaddy.com looks like this, and the client's side of it is roughly 30 minutes a week: read the report, approve the calendar and any new automation, answer the questions only an owner can answer.
New leads get a reply in minutes by text, email, or AI voice, then a human-reviewed sequence until they book or say no. Nothing sits in a form inbox.
An AI receptionist answers every call in under two seconds, qualifies, and books into your calendar. Missed-call text-back runs as a safety net.
Social posts, email sends, and Google Business Profile updates go out on an approved calendar. Ad accounts are managed inside your own account.
Uptime, forms, integrations, and automations are checked daily. When something breaks at 9 pm, we fix it, then tell you what happened.
A one-page weekly note: leads in, calls answered, jobs booked, what changed, what we recommend next. Numbers come from your CRM, not a slide deck.
Your accounts, your logins, your code. Every change is approved by you before it ships. Access can be revoked in minutes.
"You own it" is the most abused phrase in this industry, so here is exactly what it means in a ChaseDaddy.com engagement. These terms are in the Terms of Service, not just on this page.
Two numbers, both published. The build is a fixed-scope, fixed-price project. Running it is a flat monthly rate scoped to the channels and systems we operate for you. There is no per-seat fee, no per-contact fee, and no percentage of ad spend.

Ongoing operations (the "service" in RaaS)

The low end covers a website, CRM, lead follow-up automations, and an AI receptionist for a single-location service business. The high end covers multi-location operations with managed advertising, a full content and SEO program, social across four channels, and a dedicated weekly call. The number is quoted after the free audit and does not move when you add contacts or users. The $50 per month Managed Hosting and Care Plan is included in every monthly figure above.
For comparison, a part-time marketing coordinator in Denver costs $3,500 to $4,500 per month before benefits and still needs the tools, and a mid-size agency retainer runs $2,500 to $8,000 per month without building anything you keep. Full pricing, including Care Plan tiers and add-ons, is on the pricing page.
RaaS is for owners who are good at their business and tired of being bad at their software. In practice that is HVAC and plumbing companies, roofers, med spas and dental clinics, law firms, real estate teams, home services franchises, and agencies or consultancies with two to fifty people. The common thread is a phone that rings, leads that need fast follow-up, and nobody on staff whose job is to keep the machine running.
It is also a fit for digital marketing agencies that want to resell managed infrastructure under their own brand. The white-label CRM in the $10,000 package was built for exactly that, and several agency clients run RaaS for their own customers on top of it.
It is not a fit for companies that are building an in-house marketing operations team and want a tool vendor rather than an operator. It is not a fit for a business that wants a vendor to own every login so the owner never has to think about it; we will always hand you the keys, and if you would rather not hold them we are probably the wrong partner. And it is not a fit for anyone who needs a launch next week: the build takes 30 days from Content Lock, and we do not shortcut that.
Results as a Service means you hire one provider to build your digital system and then run it for you. Instead of paying for software seats and doing the work yourself, you pay a fixed price for the build and a flat monthly rate for a team that operates the website, CRM, automations, AI agents, and marketing, and reports on outcomes such as booked jobs and response time.
SaaS sells you a login and leaves setup, operation, follow-up, and reporting to you. RaaS includes the people who do that work every week. At ChaseDaddy.com, RaaS also means the custom code is yours once the build is paid in full, and you keep full admin access, so you get a managed outcome without giving up control of the system.
An agency retainer usually buys activity: posts, ads, and reports, often on accounts the agency controls. RaaS at ChaseDaddy.com starts with building infrastructure you own, then running it. Your accounts stay in your name, the code is yours, and the monthly report is tied to business results rather than deliverables shipped.
The build is fixed and published: $3,000 for a custom website, $5,000 for the website plus managed social media, or $10,000 for website, social, and a white-label CRM. Ongoing operations run $1,500 to $6,000 per month as a flat rate scoped to what we run for you, never per seat or per contact. The $50 per month Care Plan covers hosting, backups, and monitoring from launch.
No. Your domain, business listings, social profiles, and advertising accounts stay in your name. You have full admin access to the CRM and every automation, you approve the plan before changes go live, and you can revoke our access in minutes. Once paid in full you own the custom code and may request the source repository at any time.
RaaS fits owners of service businesses, clinics, contractors, law firms, agencies, and founders with teams of two to fifty who are good at their trade and tired of running software. It is not a fit for companies building an in-house marketing operations team, or for anyone who would rather a vendor hold every login so they never have to think about it.
